SHIATSU AND AKA

Shiatsu was established in Japan and the approach is very similar to Acupuncture in line with Oriental Medicine. In Shiatsu, the meridians are stimulated with finger pressure, which helps to release muscular tension and emotional stress. This leads to the restoration of circulation and improved energy flow. The treatment is very comfortable and it helps you to feel very relaxed mentally and physically. It is also effective in alleviating aches and pains, mobility problems, and it has an impact on internal organs.

NOBORU KATAOKA

Noboru has a certificate of Anma-Massage-Acupressure, Acupuncture and Moxibustion from Acupuncture and The Shiatsu Institute, which is accredited by Japanese Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare in Japan. He has been practicing acupuncture and shiatsu in both Japan and the UK over 15 years having completed and Arthrokinematic Approach (AKA) course. AKA is a specific joint manipulation method and is highly recommended for joint disorder.

His treatment helps to restore ailing joint movement and misalignment of the body as well as promoting blood circulations and releasing muscular tension in order to maintain and improve good health without any painful techniques.

Method of treatment:

Noboru combines AKA (Arthrokinematic Approach) and Shiatsu in his treatment.
Acupuncture or moxibustion can also be arranged if required

What is AKA (Arthrokinematic Approach)?
