SHIATSU
Shiatsu was established in Japan and the approach is very similar to Acupuncture in line with Oriental Medicine. In Shiatsu, the meridians are stimulated with finger pressure, which helps to release muscular tension and emotional stress. This leads to the restoration of circulation and improved energy flow. The treatment is very comfortable and it helps you to feel very relaxed mentally and physically. It is also effective in alleviating aches and pains, mobility problems, and it has an impact on internal organs.
ANWAR ST.CLAIR (MRSS)
Anwar St.Clair (MRSS) is a qualified Shiatsu practitioner, registered as a full member of the Shiatsu Society. He has studied and trained with some of the foremost Shiatsu teachers in the UK. This training included elements of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Do-In. He also has a knowledge of Yoga / Pranayama (breathing exercises for health) and Macrobiotics (food for health). Useful suggestions drawn from these disciplines are sometimes discussed after treatments as they can help people to gain control of their own well-being and realise how seemingly minor changes to diet or lifestyle can often dramatically improve health and happiness.
Anwar's shiatsu treatments are delivered in the holistic Zen Shiatsu style developed by Sensei Shizuto Masunaga in Japan.
