REIKI
Reiki is a Japanese healing method based on Eastern knowledge and techniques dating back thousands of years. It works by encouraging your body's own self-healing capacity to restore balance at all levels - physical, mental and emotional.
Reiki means "Universal Life Force Energy" in Japanese. Also known as "ki", "chi" or "prana", it refers to the natural energy that is vital to the health of all living beings. A trained practitioner can activate this energy and transmit it to others through their hands.
A treatment session is usually carried out with the recipient seated or lying down. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki passes through all materials. The practitioner places their hands gently on parts of the body that correspond to energy centres and pathways, with or without making direct contact. This allows the recipient to automatically draw in as much energy as he/she needs at the time.
Most people experience Reiki as a deeply relaxing and calming treatment. It can be beneficial for any condition and is suitable for people of all ages.
